The good news in four movements
The Bible’s message is one unfolding story: God, us, Jesus and our response.
God is holy and loving
God created everything and rightly rules over us. He is perfectly good, just and worthy of our worship.
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.” Revelation 4:8
We have sinned
We choose our own way instead of God’s. None of us can repair our guilt or earn our way back to Him.
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Jesus saves
God sent His Son. Jesus died as the substitute for sinners and rose bodily from the grave.
“Christ died for our sins… he was raised on the third day.” 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
Turn and trust
God calls us to repent—to turn from sin—and to trust Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

Becoming a Christian is not joining a club, becoming religious, or trying harder to be good. It is receiving God’s mercy through Jesus.
- Admit your sin and need of God’s mercy.
- Believe that Jesus died and rose to save sinners.
- Entrust your life to Jesus as your Saviour and Lord.
Questions people ask
It is okay to have questions.
Can God really forgive me?
Yes. The cross shows both the seriousness of sin and the greatness of God’s mercy. No sin is beyond Christ’s power to forgive when a person truly turns to Him.
Do I need to become good before coming to Jesus?
No. We come because we are not good enough. Jesus receives sinners and begins changing those who trust Him.
Is Christianity just one path among many?
Jesus made a unique claim: He is the way to the Father. Christianity rests on who Jesus is and the historical claim that He rose from the dead.
What if I still have doubts?
Bring your doubts honestly to God. Read one of the Gospel accounts, ask questions and speak with a mature Christian. Faith is not pretending questions do not exist; it is placing trust in the trustworthy Christ.
